Donate

There are many ways to support the Guardians of Flushing Bay, including making a one-time or monthly gift. Any amount you give, big or small, helps ensure that Flushing Bay and Creek are clean and publicly accessible, and brings us one step closer to beautiful waterways for everyone. Thank you!

Here are just a few ways that Guardians can put your generous gift to work:

Test the Water

We collect water data at 18 different sites across Northern Queens from May to October. Our results inform two regional advocacy reports and tell our communities when (and when not!) to touch the water.

Restore and Maintain Local Habitat

Whether it's putting in oysters, tending to inland rain gardens or designing soft shorelines, GoFB works hard to restore local habitats.

Connect People to the Water

From Spring to Fall, GoFB leads free dragon boating and walking tours to connect local residents, schools and organizations to Flushing Bay and Flushing Creek.

Report Pollution

GoFB watchdogs Flushing Waterways to ensure accountability in the health of our waterfront. You can be a water watchdog too!
